DON’T FORGET TO SEE “Sophia” at the PETERSEN MUSEUM this year !!!
Mr. D’Agostino. Dad recently passed and he had a 1979 Stutz Bearcat. A beautiful black and silver. It has a 403 cubic inch GM engine, Transmission and rearend is GM. Body was built in Turino Italy by Stutz Bearcat of America. 18K gold plated interior metal. Interior is italian leather and carpet is 100 % pure lambswool. All chrome is brass and triple plated chrome. The wheel on the trunk has a leather cover. Hubcaps have Stutz emblem. We also have the original owners manuel, sales receipt and newspaper clippings. The car is started every year and runs. The last time it was on the road was 4 years ago. Its housed in a garage year round. Dad was the second owner. He bought it in July of 1986 from Tony Wolfe at Wolfe Illiana Sales. The original owner was a tuna boat captain in California. The car has just under 25,000 original miles. To date only 7 convertables were made and thats why we’re having such a hard time getting anyone to appraise it. We cant find anything to compare it to and we need to sell the car. Any guidance would be appreciated, ie how much to ask for it and the best venue to advertise it. The car is located in Northern Michigan. Thank you for any consideration. Nanette Justo
